Dr. Stamatina Rassia is the co-Director of the Research Institute of the Hellenic American University and Senior Research Fellow at INSEAD (Social Innovation Centre, Fontainebleau Campus, France). Her previous positions include lecturer at the University of Portsmouth, UK (2010 – 2012) as well as Affiliated Faculty at the University of Florida, USA (College of Engineering, 2015). She has also worked in the UK as an Associate at Cambridge Architectural Research Ltd., and as an Architectural Consultant at Short and Associates. In 2012, she joined the ETH Zurich as a Post-Doctoral researcher for the Department of Architecture, Institute of Technology in Architecture, and in 2013, became Project (Module) Coordinator at the Future Cities Laboratory of the Singapore - ETH Centre for Global Environmental Sustainability. Dr. Rassia has participated in several international conferences and exhibitions (London Architecture Biennale 2006), and has numerous publications both in scientific journals as well as six books. She is holds a Diploma in Architectural Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (2005), MPhil in Environmental Design in Architecture from the University of Cambridge (2006), and a PhD in Architecture from the University of Cambridge (2010).
