The digital collection of the Library of the Hellenic American University is extensive and provides access to more than 250,000 e-books and more than 10,000,000 articles. Digital Books / Monographs
The American Library at Hellenic American University provides faculty and students with access to several collections of digital books: two large collections of academic titles in a broad range of fields – EBSCOHost eBook Academic Collection and eBrary. The Library also holds a subscription to PQDT (ProQuest Dissertations & Thesis Database), the world’s most comprehensive Theses and Dissertations database.
The Library subscribes to a number of services that provide access to online periodicals databases. It also has direct subscriptions to a range of on-line journals. The following lists the periodicals databases to which the Library is subscribed, by subject area(s) and the subscription service. Clicking on the “Service” will bring you to the provider’s Search page.
- EBSCO Host (a very large collection of resources in nearly all disciplines. See below for a list)
- Emerald (Emerald Management Xtra)
- Springer (Springer Computer Science Archives)
- Science Direct Journals (Arts & Humanities)
Only students, faculty and staff of the Hellenic American University may use the Library Resources. If you are an eligible user and wish to have remote access (that is, outside the University premises) to the resources, you should navigate to http://lib.hau.gr and provide your student/faculty credentials. These credentials (aka Labs account) have been given to you upon registration, along with your university email and Blackboard account.
In the username field, please enter: labs\username.
In the password field, please enter your password. Keep in mind that passwords are case sensitive.
