Panas, Antonios

Antonis Panas is a civil engineer with 15 years of experience in managing complex civil projects. He holds an M.Sc. in Construction Management from Loughborough University and a Ph.D. from the Centre of Construction Innovation of the National Technical University of Athens. He teaches at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens as well as in the M.Sc. Construction Management program of the Hellenic Open University. He is an IPMA-certified professional and currently works as a general director in a large-scale construction company, where he heads the Project Management division with a particular focus on performance benchmarking, cost/time management and contract management.

Papageorgiou, Stergios

Stergios Papageorgiou holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Finance, from the University of Scranton, USA and a Bachelor of Business Administration, from the American College of Greece (Deree), Athens, Greece. He has close to thirty years of professional experience, beginning in NY with a major bank in the areas of Project Finance and Commercial Real Estate, before expanding his career predominantly to the shipping industry. Upon his return to Greece, he has joined Barclays Bank Shipping unit as a Relationship Manager, and following, as a Shipping Manager for a smaller Greek Bank. Subsequently, Mr. Papageorgiou is engaged as a consultant for several shipping debt restructuring projects and serves a container liner company as their Business and Finance Manager. In parallel to his professional career, he has held several teaching positions with several highly esteemed educational organizations, such as the American College of Greece, the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, the Cyprus International Institute of Management and more. Mr. Papageorgiou is an adjunct faculty member and teaches in the BSBA program.

Patch, Christopher

Christopher Patch received his Master’s degree from Roberts Wesleyan College and Northeastern Seminary in Rochester NY. Prior to joining Hellenic American University, he was Director of IT and Business Education at TechMarket Training in Nashua, NH, USA and an adjunct professor for Manchester Community College and John Mason Institute. He has extensive experience in IT management, strategic planning, and predictive and adaptive management methodologies and has been active in the field of training, consulting and education development for the past 15 years. Chris has developed and delivered instructor-led training, virtual training, mentoring, and consulting services since 2005. He has worked on projects with clients and partners across multiple industries including government, health care, food production, media, hospitality, and telecommunications. Chris has extensive experience and skills in many different areas, including project management, Scrum, IT management and development, office applications, and soft skills. Mr. Patch is an adjunct faculty member at Hellenic American University, where he teaches in the MBA program.

Psoni, Evita

Evita Psoni is an academic researcher and career counselor. She has extensive experience as a freelancer and employee in organizations in the telecommunications, banking, and hospitality sectors, and in music, vocational training and private higher education. Her research has been published in international journals and presented at conferences. She is a peer reviewer and a member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Learning and Change. She has studied International Economics, Human Resources, Communications and Management, Pedagogy, Special Education, Adult Training and Music in the Athens University of Economics and Business, Deree College, and elsewhere. She is currently a PhD candidate at Athens University of Economics and Business completing a dissertation on leadership. She is active in volunteer work, having been president and co-founder of several NGOs, such as Beyond Orbit. Evita is the Director of the Career Development Office at Hellenic American University and instructor in the Business program.

Tsolis, Pete

Panagiote (Pete) Tsolis earned his undergraduate degree in Marketing and an MBA from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and is completing his Ph.D. in Global Leadership and Change at Pepperdine University. He has over 18 years of corporate experience, mostly in the hospitality and casino gaming industry, and has worked with top-tier operators such as MGM Resorts International and the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. He currently works as an independent consultant and teaches at the University of Saint Katherine. At Hellenic American University, he is an adjunct faculty member in the business department.

Vongelis, Ilias

Ilias Vongelis holds a B.A. in Economics from AUEB, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from Concordia University, Canada. Dr. Vongelis has worked as a lecturer in Economics and is a certified Portfolio Manager from the Hellenic Capital Market Committee a certified Trading Representative of the Athens and Cyprus Stock Exchange and a practicing accountant licensed by the Economic Chamber of Greece. He has held prominent positions in the financial sector for over twenty years, serving as General Manager, Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Executive Officer for Solidus Securities AEPEY, a leading retail non-banking investment firm, Chief Financial Officer in a firm devoted to renewable energy sources, and Credit Analyst in the Corporate Banking Division of the Bank of Cyprus. Dr. Vongelis is an adjunct faculty member at Hellenic American University and teaches in the BSBA program.

Voziki, Thomina

Thomina Voziki is a Learning Experience Designer and Business Consultant at Krataion Consulting. She holds a bachelor’s in Education. and an MSc in Technology Education and e-Learning from University of Piraeus. She designs and delivers large-scale business training programs for multinational companies, SMBs, and the public sector with a specialization in customer experience and design thinking. Thomina worked for 3 years at OTEAcademy designing L&D programs and facilitating face-to-face and virtual classes in soft skills training. She is a certified non-formal education Trainer of Adults by the National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance, and a certified practitioner of Enterprise Design Thinking by IBM. She is a mentor in Women on Top and a Board member of the Diversity Advancement Committee in the global association CXPA. She is an advocate of women’s empowerment, and a Gold Tier facilitator of the global Google initiative #IamRemarkable. She teaches in the Business Program at the Hellenic American University.

Walters, Henry

Henry Walters, a poet and teacher, was born in Chicago in 1984 and grew up in Clinton, Michigan. After graduating from Harvard University with a degree in Latin and Greek, he lived as a falconer’s apprentice in Ireland and a beekeeper’s assistant in Sicily before returning to the United States, where he has worked as a seasonal biologist, postal carrier, census-taker, gardener, carpenter, baseball coach, actor, teacher, playwright, and birding guide. His first book, Field Guide A Tempo, was a finalist for the 2016 Kate Tufts Discovery Award. A second collection of poems will be published by The Waywiser Press in 2022. He is also the translator, from Italian, of Enrico Testa's prize-winning collection Ablativo. He lives in New Hampshire with his young family, a hive of bees, and a hawk. He is an adjunct faculty member at Hellenic American University, where he teaches in the Nashua MBA program.
