Aims and Activities

The Hellenic American University Office of International Exchange Programs (OIEP) serves the University’s mission to educate its students to be global citizens by fostering the intercultural character of the University. In the framework of this mission, the Office identifies opportunities for academic exchange, and supports students and faculty in participating in such programs. It pursues this in four areas. Specifically, OIEP:

  • assists students from other universities abroad who wish to attend courses at Hellenic American University in Nashua, NH or at the University’s programs that are offered in Athens through an Agreement of Cooperation with the Hellenic American College;
  • assists faculty from other institutions who are involved in joint teaching, research and other academic projects with Hellenic American University before and during their stay in Athens;
  • provides support and mentoring services to Hellenic American University students who wish to do part of their studies abroad;
  • helps Hellenic American University faculty members with administrative matters pertaining to their participation in conferences, inter-institutional research projects and teaching assignments in seminars and courses at other universities.
