Dominiki Vasiliki Gaki is a post-doctoral researcher at the University of the Aegean (Chios, Greece), Faculty of Management, Department of Business Administration, specializing in the fields of Aviation, Management and Tourism. Dr Gaki holds a PhD from the Law School of the Democritus University of Thrace (Greece), where she specialized in the fields of financial, transport, competition and international aviation law. Prior to joining Hellenic American College, she was a practicing lawyer and member of the Athens and Cyprus Bar Associations. As a lawyer she was specialized in administrative law, commercial law, aviation law, civil law, as well as European Union Law, including the Treaty Interpretation for the European Union. Dr Gaki has served in research positions in Universities in Greece and Cyprus. She is the author of three monographs and over fifty scientific articles and papers in the fields of aviation and transport Law. Dr Gaki is a scientific collaborator of the legal journals: “Vima tou Dikigorou” - Athens Bar Association, “Nomiko Vima” - Athens Bar Association and legal magazine "Entha" - European University of Cyprus. At Hellenic American College Dr. Gaki teaches employment and business law, business management and marketing.

Gerasimos Kontaxis received his M.Sc. in Information Technology from Hellenic American University and a Bachelor degree in Computer Information Systems from the American College of Greece. He is an Apple and Microsoft Certified Trainer and serves as an assistant coordinator for the IT exams at the Hellenic American Education Center. In the past, he has taught Project Management courses for Aircraft Maintenance at the Olympic Air base, and served as an IT trainer for women inmates at Korydallos prison through a drug rehabilitation program. He is an adjunct faculty member and teaches in the General Education and BSIT programs.

Konstantinos Liakeas holds a degree in Mathematics from the University of Athens and an MBA with specialization in e-commerce from Athens University of Economics and Business. He holds professional certifications in Project Management (PMI), Business Analysis (IIBA) and Service Management (ITIL). He joined Hellenic American University as the MBA Coordinator in September 2014. He also works as IT director in Eurolife ERB SA. His main areas of responsibility are ICT strategy design and implementation as well as management of strategic programs. Before Eurolife he has worked as e-business manager in Millennium Bank and Geniki Bank – Société Générale where he designed and managed e-banking, call center and ATM solution implementations. Previously he had worked for Microsoft as a senior consultant for the financial sector, for Eurobank ERB.

Menelaos Makrigiannis holds a Master in Business Administration from Hellenic-American University, and a Master of Science in Data Communication & Software (with distinction) from Birmingham City University , as well as a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PgCERT) and a Bachelor degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the same University. Since October 2006, he is an adjunct faculty member and teaches in the BSIT and MSIT programs. At the same time he is Systems Integration and International Sales Director at SiEBEN Innovative Solutions, and serves as the product manager of the company’s partners, such as Cisco, HP, and Dell. He has been a Cisco instructor for a variety of courses (CCNA/ CCDA /CCNP Routing & Switching, CCNP Voice, CCNP Wireless & CCNP Security) since October 2003, and has been recognized (globally) as an Advanced Level Instructor. He holds a number of Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCNP Voice, etc) and has been a Member of the IET since February 2004. He has taught at Birmingham City University as a Senior Lecturer and at Open University UK as an Associate Lecturer.

His research interests include Unified Communications, Proximity Marketing, and Presence Analytics.
